After that, Sprout resumed its regular programming. It was turning red, and what was in the sound of static sounded like a woman screaming fading in slowly. Then it went to static as the jingle faded to the sound of the static. The screen faded to Elmo on a cloud, sleeping. "Elmo." Zoe said, feeling all raspy and dry. This stopped when Zoe was pale, and was almost skeleton thin. This went on for a minute, with violin music playing in the background. Zoe started to walk in a straight motion. Zoe was with Elmo in a white room with no walls. The screen faded to white, and this wasn't a flashback. "Bye bye, Elmo loves you!" he said as he jumped off the cliff accompanied by a loud crackling sound.
He then stopped crying and looked towards the viewer. Elmo's sorry everybody, but he have to do this."Įlmo then started crying softly. Elmo then looked at the viewer, and said "This is so hard to go through, of course Bob was not really the nicest, but he was always there for Elmo, even when he got on his nerves sometimes, He was strong on Sesame Street, but without him, Elmo's nothing.
"Elmo needs to be alone right now." Elmo said in a depressing way. They all noticed he was sad, and they asked what was wrong. Elmo then went to Hooper's Store where Zoe, Rosita, Telly, Baby Bear, and Alan (the shopkeeper) were waiting for him. The scene then switched to Elmo and the other street residents - both puppet and human - at the funeral, held in the street's arbor, everyone was crying, including Elmo, and it sounded realistic as if the puppeteers and actors were actually bawling their eyes out.Īfter the funeral, everyone was still crying except for Gordon and Susan. Hello everybody, Bob just passed away due to a heart attack, and we are planning a funeral for him. The strangest thing is that it doesn’t start with the intro we come in love with (this was clearly an episode from the mid-2000s). We had to keep our parents' room's TV on Sprout (which I'm a big fan of nowadays) at night so my sisters and I could sleep. The year was 2011, and back then I was four years old.
